Day 2- It’s a Hit!

Today- we did Kentucky!

First, I went to Churchill Downs, and went to the Kentucky Derby Museum. It was pretty good- we first watched a movie in a screen in the same shape as a track. Then we looked around and tried on funny hats.

Then we went to the Louisville Slugger Museum, and we had a tour where we went into the factory where we saw the bats being made. We also saw billets being set for a player, and the Nationals player was.....Ryan Zimmerman!

Then I got to do the batting cages- I hit 5 out of 10.

It was a Hit- pun intended
